Do you offer discounts?
We proudly offer 10% discounts to military, first responders, health care workers, law enforcement, educators and animal care workers or volunteers.
What if I’m not getting enough photos or updates?
You can always message us to see how the pets are and request extra photos at no cost. We are big on communication and we will communicate as much or as little as you’d like.
What sets West Hills Dog Sitter apart from other companies?
While we can’t speak for other companies, we offer exceptional service, we are dependable, trustworthy and love your pets like they are our own.
Do you have a referral program?
Yes, we offer a $25 credit if you refer someone and the person you are referring to will get either a $25 credit off of their first service or a free meet & greet. The service credit will be applied after one service.
Do you have a lot of extra charges?
Our prices include administering medicine, caring for older dogs, extra belly rubs or attention, dog walks, and most special requests. We strive to keep our prices fixed and inclusive of everything.
Should I tip the dog sitter?
We charge a rate we are comfortable with and pay our employees a fair wage, so you do not need to tip. If you have received exceptional service and would like to, it’s appreciated but not necessary.
What happens if the weather is too hot or too rainy for a dog walk?
In such cases, we will visit your home to spend some time with your dog and adjust the walk time as needed.
Will you take my dog on a hike or out to be socialized?
We are available for dog hikes and outings.
Do you work with insurance?
Yes, we often work with insurance when someone is out of their home for an insurance claim and is unable to take their pet with them. We can board the dog in a loving home environment in West Hills. If you’re in a hotel in West Hills with your pet, we can stop by for visits or dog walks. This is typically covered under homeowners or renter’s insurance.
I’ll be on vacation and cannot make a meet & Greet but need to drop my dog off. Can we skip the meet & greet?
This can be done on a case by case basis. If this type situation, we will have a phone call instead of the meet & Greet.
